M.Sc. Nutritional Sciences

Eligibility: The Course of MSc Food Technology & MSc Nutritional Sciences will be open to those students who have passed the B.Sc. Examination from any recognized University with Chemistry or Biochemistry as one of their major or minor subjects, B.Sc. (Home Science), B.Sc. (Home Ecomonics) or equivalent examination, B.Sc. in Agriculture/Agriculture Sciences or B.Tech./B.E.

Total Number of Seats: 30 (After implementing OBC quota nos. of seats - 46)
(Reservation is applicable as per University norms)

Duration: Two years (Four Semesters)

a. Semester I - Rs.32,000.00 (includes Rs.5,000.00 refundable caution money)
b. Semester II - Rs.25,000.00
c. Semester III - Rs.27,000.00
d. Semester IV - Rs.25,000.00
A sum of Rs.10,000.00 per semester will be charged extra from the student selected for the paid seat.
Annual University dues : As per University Charges

Entrance Syllabus:
The question paper will be divided into three sections, Section A (General Awareness) and Section B (Chemistry) having 50 questions, each is compulsory for all the candidates, whereas, candidates are required to attempt any one of the following subject groups from Section C having 50 questions:

  1. Biology Group
  2. Maths Group
  3. Food and Dairy Technology Group
  4. Agriculture Group
  5. Home Science Group
(The questions will be of up to Graduate level)
